ഗ്രീക്കോ-റോമൻ ഇതിഹാസത്തിലെ ട്രോജൻ നായകന്മാരിലൊരാളാണ്‌ ഏനീയസ്(/[invalid input: 'ɨ']ˈniːəs/;[1] Greek: Αἰνείας, Aineías, possibly derived from Greek αἰνή meaning "praised") .രാജാവായ അഞ്ചീസെസിന്റെ(Anchises)യും ദേവതയായ വീനസിന്റേയും മകനാണ്‌ ഏനിയസ്.അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഇളയച്ചനാണ്‌(second cousine) ട്രോയിലെ പ്രൈം.ഗ്രീക്ക് ഇതിഹാസങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു കഥാപാത്രവും,ഹോമറിന്റെ ഇലിയാഡിൽ ഏനീസിന്‌ മികച്ച പരിവേഷമാണ്‌ ലഭിച്ചത്[2] .വിർജിലിന്റെ ഏനീഡിൽ റോമുലസിന്റെയും റിമസിന്റെയും പിതാമഹനാണ്‌ ഇദ്ദേഹം.റോമിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ആദ്യ ആദ്യത്തെ ഹീറൊയാണ്‌ ഇദ്ദേഹം.[3].
