ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ റോക്ക് സംഗീത സംഘമാണ് ഈഗിൾസ്. 1971-ൽ ലോസ് ഏഞ്ചൽസിൽ വെച്ച് രൂപീകൃതമായ ഈഗിൾസ്ന് അഞ്ച് നമ്പർ ഗാനവും ആറ് നമ്പർ വൺ ആൽബങ്ങളുമാണുള്ളത്. ആറ് ഗ്രാമി പുരസ്കാരവും അഞ്ച് അമേരിക്കൻ സംഗീത പുരസ്കാരവും നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള ഇവർ ലോകമെമ്പാടുമായി 15 കോടി ആൽബങ്ങൾ വിറ്റഴിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[1].ഇത് ഇവരെ ലോകത്തിലെ എക്കാലത്തെയും മികച്ച അഞ്ചാമത്തെയും അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഒന്നാമത്തെയും സംഗീത സംഘമാക്കി മാറ്റി.[2]. ഇവരുടെ ഹോട്ടൽ കാലിഫോർണിയ എന്ന പേരിലുള്ള ഗാനവും ആൽബവും ലോകപ്രശസ്തമാണ്. 2Ol3-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഇതേ പേരിലുളള മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്രം ഈ ഗാനത്തെ കുറിച്ച് പരാമത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
