দ্বিঘাত বিশিষ্ঠ তল

গণিতশাস্ত্রে দ্বিঘাত বিশিষ্ঠ তল বিভিন্ন শঙ্কুচ্ছেদের (উপবৃত্ত, অধিবৃত্ত, পরাবৃত্ত) সর্বজনীন রূপ। এটি (D + 1) মাত্রার তলের D মাত্রিক হাইপারসারফেস।

সাধারণ ভাবে x₁, x₂, ..., x_D+1 জ্যামিতিক পদ্ধতিতে এটিকে বীজগাণিতিক সমীকরণ দ্বারা প্রকাশ করা যায়[1]

যেখানে x = (x₁, x₂, ..., x_D+1) একটি সরি ভেক্টর (row vector), x^T হলো x (a column vector) এর ট্রান্সপোজ, Q is a (D + 1) × (D + 1) ম্যাট্রিক্স এবং P হলো (D + 1)-মাত্রার . Q, P এবং Rকে বাস্তব সংখ্যা বা জটিল রাশি হিসাবে লেখা যায়।
