গন্ডোয়ানা
গন্ডোয়ানা[1][2]) (অন্য নাম গন্ডোয়ানাল্যান্ড) একটি প্রাচীন অতিমহাদেশের নাম। দক্ষিণ গোলার্ধের অধিকাংশ ভূভাগ এই মহাদেশের অন্তর্গত ছিল। অস্ট্রীয় বিজ্ঞানী এডুয়ার্ড সুয়েস (Eduard Suess) ভারতের মধ্য-উত্তর অংশের 'গোণ্ডবন' (गोंडवन) এলাকার নামে এ নামটি দেন।
