অসাম্প্রদায়িকতাবাদ

অসাম্প্রদায়িকতাবাদ বা অসাম্প্রদায়িকতা (ইংরেজি: Cosmopolitanism) হল একটি আদর্শিক মতবাদ যেখানে সকল মানুষ পারস্পারিক নৈতিকতা ভাগাভাগির বা বিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে একটি একক সম্প্রদায়ের সদস্য হবে। যে ব্যক্তি অসাম্প্রদায়িকতার ধারণাকে যে কোন আকারে নিজের মাঝে ধারণ করেন তাকে একজন অসাম্প্রদায়িক বা ইংরেজিতে cosmopolitan বা cosmopolite বলা হয়।[1]

একটি অসাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রদায় বা সমাজব্যবস্থা সার্বজনীন নৈতিকতা, বিনিময়মূলক অর্থনৈতিক সম্পর্ক এবং বিভিন্ন জাতি দ্বারা পরিবেষ্টিত রাজনৈতিক কাঠামোর উপর ভিত্তি করে গড়ে উঠতে পারে। একটি অসাম্প্রদায়িক ব্যবস্থায় বিভিন্ন স্থান বা দেশ থেকে আগত ব্যক্তিগণ পারস্পারিক শ্রদ্ধার মাধ্যমে সম্পর্ক তৈরি করেন। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, কোয়ামি অ্যান্থনি এপিয়াহ এমন একটি অসাম্প্রদায়িক ব্যবস্থার পরামর্শ দেন যেখানে বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে আগত ব্যক্তিগণ তাদের ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ধর্মীয় ও রাজনৈতিক বিশ্বাস বা মূলনীতি থাকা সত্ত্বেও পারস্পারিক শ্রদ্ধার একটি সম্পর্কে প্রবেশ করবে।[2]
