History

EM/CCM is one of the fastest growing subspecialties in the field of Emergency Medicine. Washington University has committed to providing up to date critical care medicine training to our Residents, state of the art critical care medicine services for our patient population, and innovative research to challenge the barriers of current critical care medicine practice models.

  • Newborn Nursery - 2 weeks
  • ED Ultrasound - 1 month
  • Adult Anes - 2 weeks
  • Pediatric Anesthesia - 2 weeks
  • Pediatrics - 1 month
  • Pediatric EM - 1 month
  • Vacation - 3 weeks
  • Reading Period - 1 week

PGY2

  • Emergency Medicine - 6 months
  • Emerg Med Research - 1 month
  • Emerg Med Services - 0.5 months
  • Procedures- 0.5 months
  • Neurologic ICU - 1 month
  • Surgical ICU - 1 month
  • Pediatric ICU - 1 month
  • Ped EM - 1 month (integrated over EM mo)
