History

Three educational programs are offered: a 3-year Categorical Emergency Medicine program, a 5-year Combined Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine (EM/IM), and a 6 year Combined Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care (EM/IM/CC) program. There are 42 faculty and 52 residents in the department; 41 are categorical, eight are EM/IM, and two are EM/IM/CC.

The Emergency Department is looking for highly motivated residents who are committed to a career in Emergency Medicine and want to train in a stimulating and challenging environment with state-of-the-art patient care techniques.
