Watsonian Society - A CDC Employee Organization for Public Health Advisors

2003 Habitat for Humanity Project

Thanks to the number volunteers and their quality of work, the Watsonian Society's Habitat House was completed a week ahead of schedule! We held a dedication ceremony at the house on Saturday October 25 at 3PM.

If you are interested in volunteering for another Habitat for Humanity building project, please contact your local Habitat directly - they always need volunteers - or check out the Habitat for Humanity International web site at http://www.habitat.org/. Click on the Local Affiliates button on the left navigation bar to search for a chapter near you.

This year's home was constructed in Doraville.

Work Began August 30, 2003

The first day of construction was August 30th and construction was scheduled to continue for 10 Saturdays. There was a ground breaking ceremony to start off the project.
