- The Syphilis Elimination Effort (SEE) Community Mobilization Toolkit was a set of communications tools designed to help public health practitioners mobilize community alliances to eliminate syphilis
- National Plans: CDC, in collaboration with federal, state, local, and non-governmental partners, launched the National Plan to Eliminate Syphilis. The National Plan was developed in 1999 and updated after a 2005 consultation with partners in 2006.
- Consultation Meeting, 2005: CDC organized a consultation meeting to provide key stakeholders with an update on completed SEE activities and achievements, and to solicit their input in re-framing future syphilis elimination strategies.
