摘要

我们使用涉及三个威斯康辛部落的参与方法,为美洲印第安人家庭设计了一项肥胖症预防干预措施,名为“健康的儿童,巩固的家庭”(Healthy Children, Strong Families)。“健康的儿童,巩固的家庭”向学龄前儿童及其照护者推行健康的进食和身体活动,同时尊重每个社区的文化和结构框架。学术研究员、部落安康工作人员以及美洲印第安人社区导师参与了“健康的儿童,巩固的家庭”课程的建立。该课程的基础是社会认知和家庭系统理论,以及社区进食和活动模式,同时适合美洲印第安人的文化价值观。课程资料通过家中授课模式提供,并且已成功送抵相应的家庭。正在调整这些课程资料使其能针对各个家庭的需要量身定制。健康教育者可使用本课程作为营养和身体活动的模型,针对其他美洲印第安人学龄前儿童及其家庭做出调整,或作为建立文化特异性课程的模型。
