Idaho National Lab Workers Invited to Learn About Medical Benefits Under Federal Compensation Program

Several federal agencies and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) will host a series of town hall meetings in Idaho for Idaho National Laboratory workers (current and former) about medical benefits available under a federal worker compensation program. These meetings are scheduled to take place:

  • June 28 – in Pocatello at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel located at 1555 Pocatello Creek Road; and
  • June 29 – 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in Idaho Falls at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium located at 501 S. Holmes Ave.

Federal partners will present information about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the Former Worker Medical Screening Program.

These include the Department of Energy, the Department of Labor, Worker Health Protection Program, the Building Trades National Medical Screening Program, and the Office of the Ombudsman for EEOICPA, and the Department of Labor Traveling Resource Center. NIOSH representatives will be available during a question and answer session following the presentations.  

PLEASE NOTE: Representatives will present the same information at all meetings to accommodate worker and former workers schedules.
