COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

PHYSICAL DANGERS:
The vapour is heavier than air and may accumulate in lowered spaces causing a deficiency of oxygen.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on contact with hot surfaces or flames producing hydrogen chloride , hydrogen fluoride and phosgene . Reacts with strong acids .

INHALATION RISK:
On loss of containment this liquid evaporates very quickly displacing the air and causing a serious risk of suffocation when in confined areas.
