FIRE Flammable. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.
NO open flames, NO sparks, and NO smoking.
Powder , water spray , foam , carbon dioxide .
EXPLOSION Above 57°C explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed.
Above 57°C use a closed system, ventilation, and explosion-proof electrical equipment.
In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.

•INHALATION Tremor. Drowsiness.
Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
•SKIN
Protective gloves.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
•EYES
Safety spectacles .
Rinse with plenty of water (remove contact lenses if easily possible).
•INGESTION (see Inhalation).
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.

Personal protection: filter respirator for organic gases and vapours adapted to the airborne concentration of the substance. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place.
Separated from food and feedstuffs. Well closed. Store in an area without drain or sewer access.
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic and corrosive gases including hydrogen bromide (See ICSC 0282). and hydrogen chloride (See ICSC 0163).

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
No indication can be given about the rate in which a harmful concentration in the air is reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system and liver , resulting in impaired functions . o human data. But structural analogy gives suspicion to CNS effects, corroborated by animal oral application of 900 mg/kg: exicitation, followed by sleepiness and muscular weaknes.
