FIRE Combustible.
NO open flames. NO contact with oxidants.
Powder, water spray, foam, carbon dioxide.
EXPLOSION Risk of fire and explosion on contact withacid(s),oxidants.

In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE
PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST! STRICT HYGIENE!

•INHALATION Headache. Blue lips or finger nails. Blue skin. Dizziness. Laboured breathing.
Local exhaust or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration may be needed. Refer for medical attention.
•SKIN MAY BE ABSORBED! (Further see Inhalation).
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention. Wear protective gloves when administering first aid.
•EYES Redness. Pain.
Safety goggles face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION Abdominal pain. (Further see Inhalation).
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.

Sweep spilled substance into containers. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Chemical protection suit including self-contained breathing apparatus.

COLOURLESS TO YELLOW CRYSTALS , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic fumes ( nitrogen oxides ). Reacts violently with strong oxidizers or sulfuric acid causing fire and explosion hazard. Attacks some forms of plastic, rubber, and coatings.

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol, through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance is irritating to the eyes . The substance may cause effects on the blood , resulting in formation of methaemoglobin. The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
The substance may have effects on the blood, liver and testes.
