NIOSH REL: TWA 0.01 ppm (0.1 mg/m3) ST 0.03 ppm (0.3 mg/m3) skin
NIOSH IDLH: 4 ppm See: 7786347

ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol, through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful contamination of the air can be reached rather quickly on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
Cholinesterase inhibitor. The substance may cause effects on the nervous system , resulting in convulsions, respiratory failure. Exposure far above OEL may result in death. The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:

ENVIRONMENTAL
DATA

The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. This substance may be hazardous to the environment; special attention should be given to birds and This substance does enter the environment under normal use. Great care, however, should be given to avoid any additional release, e.g. through inappropriate disposal.

N O T E S

Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is indicated. Consult national legislation. Specific treatment is necessary in case of poisoning with this substance; the appropriate means with instructions must be available. Carrier solvents used in commercial formulations may change physical and toxicological properties. Do NOT take working clothes home.
