Local exhaust or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
•SKIN MAY BE ABSORBED!
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
•EYES Redness.
Safety goggles .
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION Blue lips or finger nails. Blue skin. Confusion. Convulsions. Cough. Dizziness. Headache. Laboured breathing. Nausea. Unconsciousness. Symptoms may be delayed (see Notes).
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Give a slurry of activated charcoal in water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

Personal protection: P3 filter respirator for toxic particles. Chemical protection suit. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Sweep spilled substance into sealable containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place.
Store in an area without drain or sewer access. Well closed. Separated from oxidants , food and feedstuffs .
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

COLOURLESS TO WHITE CRYSTALS . TURNS DARK ON EXPOSURE TO AIR OR LIGHT.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic fumes ( nitrogen oxides ). Reacts violently with oxidants causing fire and explosion hazard.

The substance can be absorbed into the body by ingestion, through the skin and by inhalation of its aerosol.

The substance may cause effects on the blood , resulting in the formation of methaemoglobin. The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization.
