EXPOSURE
PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS!

•INHALATION Blue lips or finger nails. Blue skin. Dizziness. Headache. Shortness of breath. Nausea. Vomiting. Convulsions. Weakness. Confusion. Unconsciousness.
Ventilation, local exhaust, or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration may be needed. Refer for medical attention.
•SKIN MAY BE ABSORBED! Redness. Burning sensation. (Further see Inhalation).
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
•EYES Redness. Pain.
Safety goggles or face shield.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
•INGESTION Abdominal pain. (Further see Inhalation).
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.

PACKAGING & LABELLING

Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Chemical protection suit including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Separated from food and feedstuffs . Keep in the dark. Well closed.
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

LIGHT YELLOW LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR. TURNS DARK ON EXPOSURE TO AIR.

The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic fumes including nitrogen oxides , hydrogen chloride - see ICSC0163.

The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, through the skin and by ingestion.

INHALATION RISK:
No indication can be given about the rate in which a harmful concentration in the air is reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance is irritating to the eyes and the skin . The substance may cause effects on the blood , resulting in the formation of methaemoglobin. Medical observation is indicated. The effects may be delayed.

The substance may have effects on the blood , resulting in the formation of methaemoglobin.
