COLOURLESS TO YELLOW FUMING OILY LIQUID , WITH PUNGENT ODOUR.

CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating, on contact with acids and water, producing toxic and corrosive fumes including hydrogen chloride. Reacts violently with strong oxidants , amines and light metals causing fire and explosion hazard. On contact with air it emits hydrogen chloride (see ICSC0163). ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and through the skin and by ingestion. m by inhalation of its vapour at update 2007 because of the kin notation in ACGIH

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful contamination of the air can be reached rather quickly on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance is irritating to the skin and the respiratory tract, and is severely irritating to the eyes. If swallowed the substance may cause vomiting, and could result in aspiration pneumonitis. .7mm2/s: Re-selected at update 2007, ==> GHS cat 2?;

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
The substance may have effects on the lungs , liver , kidneys and thyroid . This substance is probably carcinogenic to humans. o human data.
