NHANES-CMS Linked Data Tutorial

Variance Estimation and Hypothesis Testing

TheVariance Estimation and Hypothesis Testing course consists of two modules:

Module 12: Estimating Variance, Analyzing Subgroups and Calculating Degrees of Freedom for Performing Statistical Tests and Calculating Confidence Intervals
Module 13: Hypothesis Testing when using the NHANES-CMS linked data

If you are new to NHANES-CMS linked data analysis, we encourage you to approach the modules in sequence.  By choosing to go sequentially through the different tasks in each module, you will follow an order that resembles the real life process an analyst might go through when preparing to analyze the linked data.

If you are an experienced analyst who needs only specific information to help you complete an analysis on your own, you can pick and choose topics of interest from the navigations bar to the left.

The computer software, knowledge, and skills requirements are listed for your convenience on the Software & Technical Requirements page.
