Collaborations

NCHS collaborates with other countries and agencies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. One is the International Collaborative Effort (ICE) model, which teams domestic and foreign experts to focus on specific health issues of mutual interest. Other international collaborations do not follow the ICE model, but they all seek to promote cooperation between the United States and other countries. Research findings from these projects are used to provide guidance to domestic and international health programs and to improve the health statistical activities of NCHS.
