CDC recently upgraded its immunization hotline services. The
national immunization information hotline is now available to
respond to questions about vaccinations, vaccine-preventable
diseases, and vaccines.
The hotline serves consumers and health-care professionals.
The most frequently asked questions include those related to new
vaccines, new vaccination schedules, and vaccine safety. To access
the information, call (800) 232-2522 (in Spanish {800} 232-0233).
The hotline operates from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday,
with a voice-mail system available at all other times.
