Diseases, has a new automated telephone system that can provide
callers with information on hospital-acquired infections,
including the guidelines for prevention and control of nosocomial
infections, disinfection or sterilization procedures, nosocomial
infection rates, and training courses on infection control.
Information on these topics is available from the CDC Voice
Information System, telephone (404) 332-4555. The system is
available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
