Course Description:This webinar will provide training on the morphological features that can be used to differentiate and identify the different Entamoeba species found in human diagnostic samples. This Entamoeba species includes the Entamoeba histolytica complex, Entamoeba coli, Entamoeba hartmanni and Entamoeba polecki/chattoni. The morphological appearance of both cysts and trophozoites of Entamoeba species will be covered in this webinar.
Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:

• Discuss the clinical significance of the Entamoeba species.
• Identify and differentiate cysts of various Entamoeba species found in human samples.
• Identify and differentiate trophozoites of various Entamoeba species found in human samples.
