This graphic titled “Percent of U.S Adults with a Disability Who Smoke Cigarettes – 2007-2010” shows the percentage of adults with a disability who report that they smoke. 41.2% of American Indian Alaska Native adults with a disability smoke, 28.7% of white adults with a disability smoke, 28.2% of Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander adults with a disability smoke, 28.1% of black adults with a disability smoke, ,20.6% of Hispanic adults with a disability smoke, 12.8% of Asian adults with a disability smoke.

Disability definition: In this survey, respondents were asked if they have to use any special equipment or have activity limitations because of physical, mental, or emotional problems. Respondents who answered “yes” were considered to have a disability.
