Stephanie S. Shaw is the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for both CSELS & OPHSS and is also the Information Resources Unit (IRU) Lead for CSELS. Ms. Shaw has over 14 years of IT Project Management, IT Security and project execution experience at the CDC, which includes working for DSNS, ITSO and OCISO. Ms. Shaw began her CDC career in 2002, working for ITSO, supporting all the labs on the Clifton Road campus. She continued her IT role working as the IT support for the DSNS Emergency Operation Centers and COOP Sites. In 2011, she joined OCISO and became the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) SME, and in 2013, she became the ISSO for all of CSELS and OPHSS.

Beyond her regular duties, Ms. Shaw has responded to several disasters and public health emergencies, including Hurricane Katrina, Vaccina Immune Globulin Team, 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic, 2009 Floods in North Dakota & 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

Ms. Shaw is a graduate of Montreat College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management. She also earned a MBA in Information Technology Management/Healthcare Management and a MSM in Information Technology/Project Management from Colorado Technical University.
