தியோகர் சமணர் கோயில்கள்

தியோகர் சமணர் கோயில்கள் (Jain Temple complex), இந்தியாவின் உத்தரப் பிரதேசம் மாநிலத்தின், லலீத்பூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள தியோகர் எனும் ஊரில் அமைந்த 31 சமணக் கோயில்களின் தொகுப்பாகும். இங்குள்ள கோயில்கள் கிபி 8ம் நூற்றாண்டு முதல் 17ம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்தியத் தொல்லியல் ஆய்வகம், இச்சமணக் கோயில்களை பராமரித்து வருகிறது.[1] [2]

வரலாறு

கிபி 8 - 17ம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை கட்டப்பட்ட இங்குள்ள 31 இச்சமணக் கோயில்களில் 2000 சிற்பங்கள் கொண்டது. [3] இக்கோயிலில் பெரும் எண்ணிக்கையில் சமண தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் சிற்பங்கள், யட்சினிகள் மற்றும் யட்சர்கள் போன்ற சமண ஏவல் தேவ, தேவதைகளின் சிற்பங்கள், தீர்த்தங்கரர்களின் வாகனங்களின் சிற்பங்கள் மற்றும் சமணத் தொல்லியல் கதைகளில் கூறப்படும் நிகழ்வுகள் சிற்பங்களாக செதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இங்குள்ள 31 சமணக் கோயில்களும் காலத்திற்கு ஏற்ப வேறுபட்ட அமைப்புகளுடனும், அளவுகளுடனும் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.[5][6]
