இருப்புப்பாதை
இருப்புப் பாதை (track) என்றும் நிலைத்த வழி என்றும் தொடர்வண்டிப் போக்குவரத்தில் இரும்புத் தண்டவாளங்கள், இணைப்பான்கள், குறுங்கட்டைகள் மற்றும் சரளை அடங்கிய கட்டமைப்பும், அதனடியே பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட நிலத்தடமும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன. நிலைத்த வழி என்பது இருப்புப் பாதையுடன் அதனருகே அமைக்கப்படும் வேலிகள் போன்ற பிற தடவழி அமைப்புக்களையும் குறிக்கும்.
