कुमाँऊनी (Kumauni) आर्य-भाषापरिवारस्‍य काचित् भाषा । उत्तराखण्ड्राज्ये जनाः कुमाँऊनीभाषां वदन्ति । कुमाँऊनीभाषा देवनागरीलिप्या एव लिख्यते | उत्तराखण्डस्य कुमाँक्षेत्रस्य वर्णनं स्कन्दपुराणस्य मानसखण्डे विद्यते , गढवालस्य च वर्णनं केदारखण्डे विद्यते ।
