ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮ

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮವನ್ನು ೧೯೬೧ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ೧೯೬೧ರಲ್ಲಿ ೧೭೯೨ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಾಲೀಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಕೂಡ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲನೆ ಭಾರಿಗೆ ವೋಲ್ವೊ ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.[2]

ವಾಹನಗಳು

೧೯೯೭ರವರೆಗೆ ಕ ರಾ ರ ಸಾ ನಿವು ೧೦,೪೦೦ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ೯೫೦೦ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೧೯೯೭ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಕರಾರಸಾನಿಯ ಮೊದಲನೆ ವಿಭಾಗೀಕರಣ. ನವೆಂಬರ್ ೧೯೯೭ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಯುವ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮವನ್ನು ವಾಯುವ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸೇವೆಗೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದಾದ ನಂತರ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮವನ್ನು ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸೇವೆಗೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಹಲಾವಾರು ರೀತಿಯ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.

  • ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ: ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲುಗಡೆ ನೀಡುವ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳು.
  • ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಾರಿಗೆ: ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಗದಿತ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿಲುಗಡೆ ನೀಡುವ ಬಸ್ಸುಗಳು.
  • ಮೈಸೂರು ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-ಮೈಸೂರು ನಡುವಿನ ತಡೆರಹಿತ ಸೇವೆ.
  • ರಾಜಹಂಸ: ಸುಖಾಸೀನ ಸೇವೆ.
  • ಶೀತಲ್: ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ.
  • ಮಯೂರ: ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ.
  • ಮೇಘದೂತ: ಹವಾನಿಯಂತ್ರಿತ ಸೇವೆ.
