ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದ ಕೊ೦ಬು  (Somaliಟೆಂಪ್ಲೇಟು:Lang-so, Oromoಟೆಂಪ್ಲೇಟು:Lang-om, Amharicಟೆಂಪ್ಲೇಟು:Lang-am yäafrika qänd, ಅರೇಬಿಕ್: القرن الأفريقي al-qarn al-'afrīqī, Tigrinyaಟೆಂಪ್ಲೇಟು:Lang-ti) (shortened to HOA) ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಂದು ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ದ್ವೀಪ. ಇದು ನೂರಾರು ಕಿಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ವೀಸ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಹೊ೦ದಿದ್ದು  ಅರಬ್ಬಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೂ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊ೦ಡಿದೆ .  ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದ ಕೊ೦ಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಬೂಟಿ, ಎರಿಟ್ರಿಯಾ, ಇಥಿಯೋಪಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸೊಮಾಲಿಯಾ ದೇಶಗಳು ಇವೆ. [1][2][3][4]

ಇದು ಸುಮಾರು 2,000,000 ಕಿಮಿ 2 (770,000 ಚದರ ಮೈಲಿ) ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಮಾರು 115 ದಶಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ (ಇಥಿಯೋಪಿಯಾ: 96.6 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್, ಸೊಮಾಲಿಯಾ: 12.3 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್, ಎರಿಟ್ರಿಯಾ: 6.4 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್, ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಬೌಟಿ: 0.81 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್).

ಮೇ 1993 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಸಾ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ನೌಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾದ ಕೊ೦ಬು.
