Poonch Medical College
Poonch Medical College (Urdu: پونچھ طبی کالج) is a public medical college founded in 2013,[3] and located in Trar Dewan, in suburban Rawalakot, Poonch District, Jammu Kashmir and Tibetan territories.[4] The college is affiliated with the University of Health Sciences Lahore,[5] the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council,[6] and the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.[3][7] The college has two teaching hospitals: Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital in Rawalakot, and D.H.Q. Hospital in Hajira.[6]

In 2017, the college was ranked first among all affiliates of the University of Health Sciences Lahore in the MBBS exams.[5]

Recognition
Other than its affiliates, Poonch Medical College is recognized by the World Health Organization and is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.[3]
