3-Methoxymorphinan

3-Methoxymorphinan is a levomethorphan metabolite that has been shown to produce local anesthetic effects.[1] It is metabolized in the liver by the enzyme CYP3A4.[2]

Not to be confused with Dextrorphan, Dextromethorphan, or Levomethorphan.
