সত্যমেব জয়তে

সত্যমেব জয়তে (সংস্কৃত: सत्यमेव जयते) ভারতের রাষ্ট্রীয় নীতিবাক্য।[1] এর অর্থ "সত্যের জয় অবশ্যম্ভাবী।" সত্যমেব জয়তে মুন্ডক উপনিষদের একটি মন্ত্র।[2] ১৯১৮ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে পণ্ডিত মদন মোহন মালব্য ভারতের জাতীয় কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি থাকার সময় এই মন্ত্রটিকে জাতীয় রাজনীতিতে নিয়ে এসে জনপ্রিয় করেন।[3] এই মন্ত্রটি দেবনাগরী হরফে ভারতের জাতীয় প্রতীকের নিচের অংশে এবং সমস্ত ভারতীয় মুদ্রায় লেখা থাকে।
