বাস্তুকলা বা বাস্তুবিদ্যা ইংরেজি Architecture শব্দের বাংলা প্রতিরূপ। Architecture (লাতিন: architectura) শব্দটি এসেছে গ্রীক ἀρχιτέκτων (arkhitekton) শব্দ থেকে; ἀρχι মানে - "প্রধান" এবং τέκτων মানে - "নির্মাতা, সূত্রধর বা ছুতোর, রাজমিস্ত্রি"।
