ফ্লেমিশ ভাষা

ফ্লেমিশ ভাষা উত্তর বেলজিয়ামের ঐতিহাসিক ফ্ল্যান্ডার্স অঞ্চলে প্রচলিত ভাষা। এটি ওলন্দাজ ভাষার একটি স্থানীয় রূপ। বেলজিয়ামের বাইরে নেদারল্যান্ডসের দক্ষিণাংশে এবং উত্তর ফ্রান্সের কিছু এলাকাতে ভাষাটি প্রচলিত। বেলজিয়াম ও নেদারল্যান্ডসের সরকার ভাষাটিকে সরকারিভাবে ওলন্দাজ ভাষা হিসেবে গণ্য করে। কিন্তু ঐতিহাসিক ফ্ল্যান্ডার্স অঞ্চলে অবস্থিত লোকেরা ঐতিহাসিক ও সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক কারণে ফ্লেমিশ নামটি ব্যবহার করতে পছন্দ করে।
