গ্রিক পুরণে, গ্লাউকোস ছিল মিনস ও পাসিফাইয়ের পুত্র এবং আকাকাল্লিস, দেউকালিয়ন, আরিয়াদ্নে, কাত্রেউস, আন্দ্রোগেউস ও ফাইদ্রার ভাই। সে শৈশবকালে এক দুর্ঘটনায় মারা যায় কিন্তু পলুয়েইদোস তাকে আবার জীবিত করে তোলে।
