Dr. Brooke Steele is a medical epidemiologist in the Comprehensive Cancer Control Branch, Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, CDC. She develops and implements comprehensive cancer control studies to examine demographic differences in the burden of cancer, as well as disparities in cancer prevention and screening.

Program Manager, Utah Comprehensive Cancer Control Program

Brad Belnap manages the comprehensive cancer control program within the Utah Department of Health. There, he strives to build successful policy, systems, and environmental change approaches to reduce the burden of cancer in Utah. Brad has a master’s in public policy with an emphasis in environmental health and food policy. He focuses his research on community health and urban redevelopment.

Director, Cancer Control Section, Indiana State Department of Health

Keylee Wright is the director of the Cancer Control Section at the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). In this role, Keylee provides leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, and evaluation of statewide comprehensive cancer control efforts, and oversees all cancer programs at the ISDH. Keylee has over 14 years of public health experience. She holds a master’s degree from Ball State University in wellness management and applied gerontology with a minor in business.

Active Living Program Manager, Health by Design

Kate Riordan is the active living program manager for Health by Design, a coalition of partners working to promote healthy living in Indiana. She runs active living workshops across the state and leads the Indiana Complete Streets Coalition. Kate has a masters in urban planning from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and was formerly the active transportation planner for the City of Fort Wayne.
