Emergency Responders

Emergency Responders This section provides information to persons who respond to or oversee emergency events involving chemicals, radioactive materials, or both. The emergency response program provides technical assistance on managing field and medical responses to acute releases of hazardous substances. Also, it provides consultations for contingency planning, decontamination issues, evacuation and reentry, sampling plans, worker health and safety, and other relevant issues.
