ATSDR Releases Health Consultation for Public Comment for Midlothian, Texas

ATLANTA— The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) invites Midlothian residents to attend a public meeting on May 24, 2012 at the Midlothian Conference Center from 7:00-8:30 PM. At the meeting, ATSDR representatives will present an overview of the latest health consultation for the Midlothian site. ATSDR staff also will be available to speak with community members from 3:30-5:00 PM.

In addition, copies of the health consultation are available at the A.H. Meadows Library, located at 921 S. 9th Street in Midlothian, and can be reviewed during regular business hours.

ATSDR is accepting public comments on this health consultation until June 22, 2012. Comments on the document must be made in writing and those received during the public comment period will appear in the final version of the health consultation. Comments (without the names of persons who submitted them) and ATSDR’s responses to these comments will appear in an appendix to the final health consultation. Names of those who submit comments will be subject to release in answer to requests made under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
