Educational Videos -- Protective Actions, Pharmaceutical Countermeasures, and Health Effects

An accident in a nuclear power plant, a nuclear explosion or a dirty bomb are examples of radiation emergencies.  If a radiation emergency happens nearby, there are steps you can take to protect yourself, your family, and your pets.

These videos describe what protective actions you can take in a radiation emergency, the possible health effects of radiation exposure and contamination, and medical treatments that may be available to you.

There are eight educational/training video segments that are about 3-5 minutes in length.
