వెన్నుపాము (Spinal cord) నాడీ వ్యవస్థ (Nervous system)లో కేంద్ర నాడీమండలానికి చెందిన భాగం.[1] ఇది సన్నగా, పొడవుగా, ఒక గొట్టం మాదిరిగా ఉంటుంది. ఇది మెదడు నుండి సందేశాల్ని మన శరీరమంతటికి మరియు బాహ్య శరీరంనుండి మెదడుకీ తీసుకొనిపోతుంది. ఇది వెన్నెముక లతో పూర్తిగా రక్షించబడుతుంది. దీనిని 5 విభాగాలుగా విభజించవచ్చు. దీనినుండి 31 జతల నరాలు వస్తాయి.
