రాక్షసుడు

రాక్షసులు (Sanskrit: राक्षसः, rākṣasaḥ ) హిందూ పురాణాలలో ఒక జాతి. వీరు ధర్మవిరుద్ధ కార్యకలాపాలకు పాల్పడుతుంటారు. కొందరు మంచివారు కూడా ఉన్నారు. పుల్లింగ ప్రయోగానికి రాక్షసుడు అని, స్త్రీ లింగ ప్రయోగానికి రాక్షసి అని వాడుతుంటారు. రాక్షసులనే దైత్యులు, అసురులు లేదా దానవులు అని కూడా అంటారు.
