చరిత్ర

1989లో ఈ ప్రాంతం పశ్చిమ సియాంగ్ జిల్లా నుండి కొంత భూభాగం వేరు చేసి తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా రూపొందించబడింది. [2] ఒక దశాబ్ధం తరువాత 1999లో తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్ లాకొంత భూభాగం వేరు చేసి ఎగువ సియాంగ్ జిల్లా రూపొందించబడిది. [2]

భౌగోళికం

తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లా కేద్రంగా పసిఘాట్ ఉంది. జిల్లా వైశాల్యం 4,005 చ.కి.మీ.[3] జిల్లా వైశాల్యం ఇండోనేషియా లోని నియాస్ ద్వీపం వైశాల్యానికి సమానం. [4]

భాషలు

తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో ఆది, సినో-టిబెటన్ భాషలు వాడుకలో ఉన్నాయి. ఈ భాషను దాదాపు 1,40,000 మంది మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. ఇది టిబెటన్ మరియు లాటిన్ లిపిలో వ్రాయబడుతుంది.[7] తరువాత స్థానంలో గాలో (అంతరించి పోతున్న భాష)ఉంది. ఇది సినో-టిబెటన్ కుటుంబానికి చెందిన భాష.[8]

1978లో తూర్పు సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలో 190 చ.కి.మీ వైశాల్యంలో " డీ' ఎరింగ్ మెమోరియల్ (లాలి) శాంక్చ్యురీ " ఏర్పాటు చేయబడింది. [9]
