గ్రహం (లాటిన్, స్పానిష్ Planeta, ఆంగ్లం, జర్మన్ Planet), 2006 లో అంతర్జాతీయ ఖగోళ సమాఖ్య (International Astronomical Union) (IAU), విశదీకరణ ప్రకారం, అంతరిక్షంలో ఒక 'శరీరం', ఇది తన కేంద్రకమైన సూర్యుడు లేక నక్షత్రం చుట్టూ ఒక నిర్దిష్టమైన్ కక్ష్యలో పరిభ్రమిస్తూ వుంటుంది. బరువునూ, గురుత్వాన్నీ కల్గి, వీటి వల్ల ఆకృతినీ కల్గి వుంటుంది. తెలుగు భాషలో గ్రహము అనే పదానికి వివిధ ప్రయోగాలున్నాయి.[3] గ్రహము [ grahamu ] grahamu. [Skt. గ్రహ = to seize.] n. A planet. నవగ్రహములు the seven planets and the sun and moon. దశమగ్రహము a tenth planet: being like the Georgium sidus. A spirit, a devil.
