కారణము
కారణము [ kāraṇamu ] kāraṇamu. సంస్కృతం n. A cause, source, motive. హేతువు. కారణ శరీరము the fleshly or mortal body as opposed to జ్ఞాన శరీరము the spiritual body. ఇందుకు కారణభూతమైన దుఃఖము grief which caused this event.
కారణమునకు వ్యతిరేక పదం అకారణము.
కారణ శాస్త్రం (Etiology): శాస్త్ర విజ్ఞానంలో వ్యాధులు తదితర సమస్యలకు కారణాలను గుర్తిస్తుంది.
