అగ్రచర్వణకాలు

అగ్రచర్వణకాలు (Premolars) క్షీరదాలలో విషమ దంత విన్యాసంలో ఒక విధమైన దంతాలు.

మానవునిలో అగ్రచర్వణకాలు

వీటిని నమిలే దంతాలు అంటారు.యివి కొరికే పండ్లు(రదనిలకలు) మరియు చర్వణకాలు ల మధ్య ఉంటాయి. మానవుల నోటిలో ఒక చతుర్బాగంలో రెండేసి చొప్పున మొత్తం ఎనిమిది అగ్రచర్వణకాలు ఉంటాయి.[1][2][3] అవి రెండు మొనలను కలిగి ఉంటాయి. అగ్రచర్వణకాలు నమిలేటపుడు మధ్యంతరంగా పనిచేస్తాయి. వీటి ధర్మాలు పూర్వపు రదనికలు మరియు తర్వాతి చర్వనకాలకు మధ్య ఉంటాయి. అందువలన ఆహారం రదనికలు నుండి అగ్ర చర్వణకాలకు వెళుతుంది. చివరిగా చర్వణకాల వద్దకు చేరి నమిలివేయబడుతుంది. (రదనికల నుండి నేరుగా చర్వణకాలకు పోకుండా) [4]

(1)పై దవడ మొదటి అగ్రచర్వణకాలు(maxillary first premolar)
(2)పై దవడ రెండవ అగ్రచర్వణకాలు(maxillary second premolar)
(3)క్రింది దవడ మొదటి అగ్రచర్వణకాలు (mandibular first premolar)
(4)క్రింది దవడ రెండవ అగ్రచర్వణకాలు(mandibular second premolar)[1][3]
