மால்வி மாடு

மால்வி மாடு ( Malvi or Malavi) என்பது இந்தியாவைப் பூர்வீகமாக கொண்ட ஒரு மாட்டு இனமாகும். இவ்வின மாடுகளின் வேறு பெயர்கள் மந்தானி மகாதியோபுரி ( Manthani or Mahadeopuri) ஆகும். இவை நடு இந்தியாவில் மேற்கு மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தின் மால்வா பீடபூமியை பூர்வீகமாக‍க்கொண்டவை. [1] இது ஒரு நல்ல உழைக்கும் மாட்டு இனம்; இந்த மாடுகளில் பால் உற்பத்தி குறைவாக இருக்கும். [2]:3 இந்த இன மாடுகள் மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தின் ஷஜாபூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள அரசு மாடு வளர்ப்பு பண்ணையில் 50 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டு வருகிறது. [3]
