மானி சமயம்
மானி சமயம் (Manichaeism) (/ˌmænɪˈkiːɪzəm/;[1]தற்கால பாரசீக மொழியில் آیین مانی Āyin-e Māni; சீனம்: 摩尼教; பின்யின்: Móní Jiào) சாசானியப் பேரரசில், பாரசீகரான மானி என்பவர், கிபி மூன்றாம் நூற்றாண்டில் துவக்கத்தில் இச்சமயத்தை நிறுவினார்.[2][3][4]

நன்மை, தீமைகளால் சூழ்ந்த இவ்வுலகத்தின் மதிப்பு கோட்பாடு , நன்மை மற்றும் தீமை ஆகியவற்றிற்கும் இடையேயான போராட்டங்கள், ஆன்மிக ஒளிக்கும், இருளுக்கும் உள்ள வேறுபாடு, லோகாதய பொருட்களால் ஆன இருள் சூழ்ந்த உலகம் ஆகியவற்றை மானி சமயம் கூறுகிறது.[5]
அரமேயம் பேசிய பகுதிகளில் மானி சமயம் வேகமாக பரவியது. [6] மானி சமயம் கிபி மூன்றாம் நூற்றாண்டு முதல் ஏழாம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை செழித்திருந்தது. மானி சமய வழிப்பாட்டுத் தலங்கள், சாத்திரங்கள், தூரக் கிழக்கில் சீனாவிலும், மேற்கில் உரோமைப் பேரரசிலும் காணப்படுகிறது.[7] இசுலாம் பரவுதற்கு முன்னர், மானி சமயத்தின் பெரும் எதிரி கிறித்தவம் ஆகும். கிபி 14-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் மானி சமயம், தென் சீனாவில் நலிவடைந்து மறைந்தது.[8]
