பெசுமெர்கா

பெசுமெர்கா (ஆங்கிலம்: Peshmerga) என்பது ஈராக்கிய குர்திஸ்தான் பகுதியின் இராணுவப் படை ஆகும்[1][2]. இந்த இராணுவப் படையின் தலைவர் ஈராக்கிய குர்திஸ்தானின் அதிபர் ஆவர். இப்படை மிகப்பெரும் பிரிவாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டு தனித்தனியாக ஈராக்கிய ஜனநாயக அமைப்பால் கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டு வழிநடத்தப்படுகிறது. இப்படையின் முக்கியச் செயல்கள் நாட்டைக் காப்பதும், குர்து நிலப்பகுதியின் மக்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களைக் காப்பதுமாகும்.[3]
