பிரீட்ரிக் வில்கெல்ம் அர்கெலாந்தர்
பிரீட்ரிக் வில்கெல்ம் ஆகத்து அர்கிலாந்தர் (Friedrich Wilhelm August Argelander, 22 மார்ச் 1799 – 17 பிப்ரவரி 1875) ஒரு செருமானிய வானியலாளர். இவர் விண்மீன்களின் பொலிவுகளையும் இருப்புகளையும் தொலைவுகளையும் தீர்மானித்து அதனால் பெயர்பெற்றவர்.[1]

- இவர்1855 இல் கலை, அறிவியலுக்கான அமெரிக்க்க் கல்விக்கழகத்தின் அயல்நாட்டு உறுப்பினராகத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.[2]
- இவர் 1863 இல் அரசு வானியல் கழகத்தின் பொற்பதக்கத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளார்.
- பான் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் மூன்று வானியல் நிறுவனங்கள் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டு 2006 இல் அர்கேலாந்தர் வானியல் நிறுவனம் எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- நிலாவில் உள்ல ஒரு குழிப்பள்ளம் அர்கேலாந்தர் குழிப்பள்லம் எனவும் சிறுகோள் ஒன்று 1551அர்கேலாந்தர் எனவும் இவர் பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன.
